We also collect limited app usage analytics to help us improve the app. We also collect limited website usage analytics to improve this site. This analytics data does not include your mood entries or notes.

Data Security

Your mood data is encrypted using platform-specific security mechanisms:

• Android: Data is encrypted using the Android Keystore system
• iOS: Data is encrypted using iOS Keychain services

This ensures that your emotional data remains private and secure, accessible only to you on your device.

No Account Required

Lumio does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. You can start using the app immediately after download.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted Umami analytics instance to understand how this website is used and to improve performance and content. Umami is privacy-focused, does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, does not track users across websites, and is GDPR compliant. The data collected is anonymized.

Analytics data may include page views, referrers, device and browser information, operating system, and approximate location such as country. This data is processed on our own servers.

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your mood data stored on your device. You can delete individual mood entries within the app, or delete all local data by uninstalling the application. If you would like us to delete analytics data associated with your device, contact us and we will assist where possible.

Children's Privacy

Lumio is not directed at children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
